AmTote’s Operations & Support Centers (OSC) provide 24x7x365 wagering operations real-time monitoring and support for AmTote’s global customer base.
The 25+ member team monitors, maintains, operates, and provides comprehensive help desk support for multiple AmTote-owned hub centers as well as customer-owned hub centers powered by AmTote systems.
Hub locations: Maryland, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Isle of Man, Mauritius, Ontario, South Africa, Trinidad, Uruguay, Venezuela.
AmTote Field Operations provide direct management and support of raceday control (RDC) operations at racetracks and OTBs, as well as installation and site transitioning logistics.
As AmTote has continued its transformation from “traditional tote company” to racing and gaming technology company, operators can capitalize on the newly integrated products that AmTote brings to the pari-mutuel and fixed-odds sectors in sports and racing, and in the gaming sector.
Historical Racing (“PariMAX™) Gaming, Pari-Mutuel Fantasy Sports, traditional pari-mutuel wagering, fixed odds wagering on sports and racing, are all operated from the AmTote Spectrum® System.
AmTote also offers a range of Professional Services from formal product management, software development, project management, customer integration testing platforms, and localized customer training services.
AmTote's ongoing commitment to developing and maintaining state-of-the-art, open-system interfaces has resulted in the industry's most robust tote systems interface, the Gateway Web Services (“GWS”) platform, and, more recently, the AmTote Foreign Systems Gateway (“AFG”). These platforms provide rapid and complete integration for third-parties utilizing both account and cash-based wagering applications.
Keith Johnson joined AmTote in 1989 as a part-time technician employee having just earned a BSBA degree in Marketing from Auburn University. Embracing the racing & wagering industry that his family had decades of roots in, Keith quickly moved into a full-time position and has progressed at AmTote from the ground up, gaining extensive industry knowledge and experience within multiple departmental positions including field operations management, hub operations management, regional operations management, sales & marketing, and executive leadership positions. Keith was promoted to President of AmTote in 2016.
Jay O’Neal joined AmTote Canada in 2007. Prior to joining AmTote, he worked as a project manager and technology consultant for Magna Entertainment Corporation(MEC). Jay has 20 years’ experience working in the casino gaming and pari-mutuel wagering industry. He has a successful track record of creating and implementing efficient technology solutions. Jay studied Electronics and Computer Engineering technology at Niagara College, Canada. In the early to mid-1990s he worked at Niagara College as a corporate trainer teaching Microsoft technology and applications. During this time, he helped launch and support the first online web based training platform in Ontario. From 1997 to early 2000’s Jay transitioned into the Casino Gaming development industry and working with a team developing and implementing video slot machine hardware and software technology. In his role at AmTote, Jay has successfully managed several key customer implementations in Canada and the US. In 2015, Jay joined the executive team as Executive Vice President of Engineering and relocated from Canada to Hunt Valley Maryland.
Brenan was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2016. He joined AmTote in 2007 and was the Chief Financial Officer since 2010. He has 20 years of cross functional business experience primarily in the computer software and services industry. Prior to joining AmTote, held various leadership positions with Wells Fargo and Estimation, Inc. He was also a Senior Financial Auditor with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Shepherd University and a Masters of Professional Accountancy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in Maryland.
Cindy Wiles joined AmTote International, Inc. in 2001 as a Human Resources & Legal Assistant. Prior to joining AmTote, Cindy had 7 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry working in legal admin and human resources areas with The Rouse Company, while overall possessing 25 years of cross functional business experience primarily in Human Resources and Legal. She earned her Paralegal Certification from The Pennsylvania State University and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (“PHR”). She is a member of the Society of Human Resources with credentials as SHRM-CP, a member of the Human Resource Certification Institute (“HRCI”) as well as the Chesapeake Human Resources Association (“CHRA”). Cindy was promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2014, then promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2016 before joining the executive team as the Vice President of Human Resources in 2016. She is responsible for overseeing our Human Resources team and processes while working closely with the Sr. Executive Team and Managers, which is a critical role in support of AmTote’s continued significant growth.
